Kilikanoon has been recognised both in Australia and internationally, receiving high praise from some of the world’s most respected wine critics.
Over the years though, the packaging of their folio of wines had lacked consistency with changes in range quality and price often not reflected in its visual identity.
Tucker Branding was brought on board to develop a visual strategy to differentiate between the tiers so as to best represent price points. Initially asked to create reserve wine packaging that projects a more classical and premium perception, we were subsequently briefed to revisit Kilikanoon’s entire range. The client was design specific on certain wines, while we made recommendations that maintained consistency through the Clare, Barossa and McLaren Vale portfolios. Special consideration was given to Kilikanoon’s premium wine offering, Attunga including gift boxing and a tissue wrap.
We were also tasked with creating a series of print brochures. A premium brochure produced to showcase Kilikanoon Winery focuses on the history, evolution, winemaking philosophy, terroir, cellar door and its people. Printed on high quality stock as a french fold and side sewn with heavy black thread, the brochure also features mini replicas of a selection of Kilikanoon labels throughout including gold foiling and label texturing.
A scaled down mini brochure to act as a more economical piece of giveaway communication, and a DL double-sided leaflet for the cellar door was also produced.
