Although relatively young in winemaking terms, Rodney Strong Vineyards in Sonoma County California has achieved remarkable success. Moreover, they have earned a reputation for critically acclaimed Single Vineyard and Reserve Wines, stand out Estate Releases, and best-in-class Sonoma County Varietal Wines.

However, their luxury wine range had not been updated in many years. With a decision to push these wines through off-premise channels and attract the Super-Premium to Luxury wine drinkers, Tucker Branding was engaged to give the range a much-needed lift in quality cues and shelf presence to reach new consumers and achieve desired volume growth.

We were asked to refresh the bottle packaging to be classic, stylish, elegant, and to suggest sophistication and upscale quality while delivering on the Rodney Strong story and brand promise. The client also asked that we retain the triangular shape of the Symmetry label for product recognition and continuity and to explore bottle shapes and capsule concepts.

The resulting labels and boxes are more contemporary and stylish, which evokes sophistication and upscale quality, and delivers on the Rodney Strong brand promise.
